My mother's a voice coach for Sweet Adelines -- I go by her standards. Not that I don't love Kurt or Jack's voices.

They both use their voices in a way that isn't necessarily considered good singing, but I think the talent is there. They're just making style choices. I guess the Mountain Goat guy is doing that too, I just don't happen to like the style.
